The Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Agency, participated in the Saudi International Halal Expo and Summit 2024 exhibition held from October 28 - 30, 2024 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibitor Center, Saudi Arabia.

The exhibition focuses on innovation and sustainability which enables global participation

Jakarta PPKUKM Agency Head, Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo said representatives of Jakarta Entrepreneur participated in the Saudi International Halal Expo and Summit 2024 by presenting six mentors.

"The six coached SMEs involved include Cairo Food, Crispy Salad, Crispy Salad; Kopi Presiden, Mitra Samba, Zulfa Collection, and Santoon," she expressed, Thursday (10/31).

He hoped that the presence of representatives of UKM Jakarta Entrepreneur at the Saudi International Halal Expo and Summit 2024 exhibition in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is expected to promote and sell products.

"At the same time, business matching with business actors around the world and increasing export opportunities for Jakarta products," he explained.

He explained Saudi Arabia's population, which is dominated by Muslims, makes the country have great potential in the halal industry.

Saudi International Halal Expo and Summit 2024 offers a marketplace for various sectors including finance, tourism, logistics, and technology.

"The exhibition focuses on innovation and sustainability which enables global participation," he uttered.

As for the information, the Saudi International Halal Expo and Summit 2024 is targeted to present more than 200 participants, 10,000 visitors, and 35 countries that support this exhibition event. There are various series of activities that will be held, including exhibitions, trade, business forums, and education between institutions and institutions.
